Short Breaks Funding
Funding is available for groups clubs and services that provide activities for children with disabilities.
Small grants of up to £3,000 are available for you if you can provide additional activities, groups, or outings for children with disabilities.
In order to develop the Vision of Short Break Service Middlesbrough Council is looking for established groups who can demonstrate that they can provide good quality, safe services, run by experienced people. The focus is on providing an enjoyable activity for children and young people, while also providing a break from caring for parents.
We are particularly interested in the provision of weekend, evening and holiday activities, and in groups that can support children with complex health needs and children with autism.
For further information on any of the above grants please contact Sharon Barker on 01642 728427.
