The Commissioning & Resource Section of the Directorate covers a wide brief, mainly providing support services to schools and the Directorate.
- Catering - healthy food provision is a mission for the team, with the popular introduction of salad bars.
- ICT, Infrastructure and Curriculum - we now have provision which is among the best in the country, all schools with high power Broadband, the LEA Portal launched. Sound Curriculum and Administrative systems and resources supported.
- Strategic Policy, Planning, Finance and Human Resources - day to day support for Human Resources and Finance provided by our partner HBS.
- Data Management - Education Plan monitoring and evaluation, Best Value.
- Governor Support - support for governing bodies and also training and support for governors.
- Workforce Reform - strategic management of the opportunity to introduce new ways of working into schools. Delivery of training and support.
- Education Visits - management of Education Visits through Education Visits Officer
